Rain-shelter technology model in sustainable red chili production cluster in Aceh Tengah

چکیده

Abstract This study aims to design a rain-shelter technology model in the red chili agribusiness cluster as an alternative policy increase farmers’ income. uses soft system dynamics methodology (SSDM), which is systemic thinking modeling approach that can understand unstructured situations and contains entire interaction between elements of object through causal relationships basis for understanding dynamic behavior complex assess risks occur cluster. The research was conducted production center Aceh Tengah Regency. Identification need done literature interviews with experts from stakeholders, namely practitioners makers involved procedure input supply, production, marketing output. primary data obtained observation, in-depth respondents, well activity FGD (Focus Group Discussion), while secondary various sources literature, books, scientific journals, variety publications related this research. Formulation made by software Veneta Simulation (Vensim DSS), followed simulation. result showed application effectively had positive impact on quantity quality on-grade so it able meet industrial market demands
